What You'll Do
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities
Maintain vendor records and support accurate financial reporting
Partner with department leaders to track financial activity and funding requirements
Assist with audits, documentation, and compliance reporting
Help keep accounting operations organized and running smoothly
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with formulas and spreadsheets
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
Valid Hawaii driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in nonprofit accounting
Experience supporting audits or grant-funded programs
Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting
Ability to travel off-island when business needs require it
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
