If you enjoy raiding the candy stash, petting baby goats, holiday contests, or rocking your best 80's attire for a team bowling competition, you'll probably fit right in, and we'd love to hear from you!Responsibilities:Greet and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.Check patients in and out while verifying patient and responsible party demographic information, insurance eligibility, and completion of required pre-visit screenings.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records by ensuring current insurance cards are on file and annual registration and Protected Health Information (PHI) forms are completed and signed.Verify insurance eligibility and Medicaid PCP assignments before appointments.Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments following clinic guidelines.Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service.Answer and direct incoming phone calls and relay messages to the appropriate staff.Performing other duties as assigned to support the team.What We're Looking For:Outstanding customer service and communication skills.Positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.Comfortable learning new technology and working within electronic medical records.Team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.Ability to remain calm and professional during busy or stressful situations.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Previous medical receptionist, clerical, or customer service experience preferred.Must be available to work Monday through Friday.Occasional travel between our Fayetteville and Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) clinic locations may be needed to provide coverage and team support.About Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics:Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics, a MANA Clinic, is committed to providing excellent, compassionate care to children and their families.
