We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a manufacturing organization in Holland, Michigan. This role will handle core accounting activities across payables, receivables, and recordkeeping while helping maintain accurate financial data and timely transaction processing. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with accounting software, strong data entry accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare payments in alignment with company procedures.

• Maintain customer billing records, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances to support steady cash flow.

• Enter financial transactions into accounting systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Reconcile account activity by reviewing discrepancies and assisting with corrections to ensure reliable records.

• Update and organize accounting files, reports, and transaction histories for easy retrieval and audit readiness.

• Use accounting software and invoice processing tools to record, track, and monitor daily accounting activity.

• Partner with internal teams to resolve payment, billing, and documentation issues in a timely manner.

• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting clerk or similar finance support role.

• Practical experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Proficiency with an accounting software and confidence working within computerized accounting systems.

• Strong data entry skills with a consistent focus on accuracy and completeness.

• Experience processing invoices and maintaining organized financial documentation.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
