Second Shift Custodian

Job Title: SECOND SHIFT CUSTODIAN (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)

Perform daily cleaning and basic building maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom cleaning, snow removal, and minor repairs. This role supports school events by setting up and cleaning up spaces, operating floor care equipment, and assisting across multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, climb, lift, carry, and reach for extended periods
Experience using floor care equipment or ability to learn
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)

Strong commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Proven dependability, punctuality, and consistent follow-through
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with staff, students, and community stakeholders
Interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform daily cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing trash, cleaning restrooms, and removing snow
Ability to set up for and clean up after special activities
Attention to detail in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
Adaptability to changing priorities and building needs
Ability to commit to a regular schedule and work occasional weekends (2-3 times per year)
Willingness to have multiple assignments at different locations
Willingness and ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
Ability to complete other duties as assigned

Location: TBD

Rate: Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications

Hours: 4-8 hours per day, Monday - Friday

Start Date: As mutually agreed upon
