AP Supervisor

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $107,500 per year.

• Lead and mentor the accounts payable team to ensure efficient operations and performance.
• Oversee invoice processing to ensure accurate coding, approvals, and timely payments.
• Manage weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing accruals and reports.

• Maintain accurate vendor master data and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify contract compliance and approval policies.
• Implement and uphold internal controls to support SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Facilitate external audits by providing documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance AP efficiency.

• A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Use ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle proficiently.
• Communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities with strong analytical skills.
