Position Title: Level 3 CNC Machinist
Location:  Rancho Dominguez, CA 
Duration: FTE (Direct)
Salary:  USD $30-39.60/Hr Full time

• 7+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, perform own set-ups and machine the part to drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of machinist hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to machine and measure +/- 0.001” or less tolerances
• Ability to design and make complex tooling and fixtures with guidance and approval
• Ability to do complex programming using CAD/CAM with guidance and approval
• Possesses the written, verbal and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively
• Willing to learn new machines and software

Preferred Experience:

• Must have experience using CAD/CAM systems, preferably Auto Desk Fusion 360 or NX
• Graduate in a machine tool technology program, machinist apprenticeship program or completion of a Trade School program

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machine parts to ±0.001" tolerances.
• Create and modify complex CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Design and build tooling and fixtures to support production.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and make necessary adjustments.
• Improve machining processes, tooling, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and work independently or with the production team.
