Software Development Engineer - Factory Automation - SECS/GEM

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Develop SECS/GEM Factory automation solutions.Solution life cycle: Requirements analysis, solution design, code development, unit test, documentation, deployment of solutions in 24x7 manufacturing environments.Design & product development of VGEM software modules for SOC & Parametric testers.On-site test cell integration & support.Job RequirementsRequired skills / experience: Minimum Qualifications:BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Science (BSCS), or equivalent.5-10 years of experience with SECS/GEM factory automation.Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, communication skills, & ability to work in a global team.Travel within US or outside US for project delivery & integration.Industry Skills Required:Basic understanding of SECS/GEM & 300mm SEMI standards including E5, E30, E40, E94.Basic understanding of Semiconductor test including parametric test.Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) tester platforms experienceSoftware Skills:Strong Software Engineering experienceSoftware development experience in C++, Python, Qt.Red Hat/CentOs Linux operating system administration (networking, rpm installation/creation, etc.)Linux shell commands and scripts, SQL databases.Desired skills / experience: Advantest V93000 (V93K) SmarTest tester operating system.Production APIs and production applications.Operator interface development.Employment Type: This position may be filled as either a full-time employee (FTE) or contractor (with potential FTE conversion after 6-9 months), at Advantest’s discretion.Job DetailsJob Type: Full-timeCategory: Application Engineering
