Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to cardiac patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to established healthcare standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient treatment and education.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and treatments specific to cardiac patients.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures, medications, and treatments related to cardiac care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications for cardiac health.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate precautions to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with clinical guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Meet the American Heart Association's BLS certification requirements and renew every two years.
• Demonstrate at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care or related specialties.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to follow medical instructions and interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Show the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
