Pediatric School-Based SLP | Cherry Valley, New York

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a supportive educational setting near Cherry Valley, NY. Throughout this onsite, full-time role, your expertise will directly impact students from kindergarten through high school, with the majority of your caseload focused on K-8 learners. This assignment offers stability, running from September 2, 2026, through June 25, 2027, and follows a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:40 am to 3:05 pm.


Applicants should feel comfortable managing a dynamic caseload of about 40 students, including four at the high school level. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and professionals to deliver assessments, develop IEPs, and provide engaging therapy sessions that help each student develop essential communication skills.


Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current CCC-SLP certification or eligibility; clinical fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric and school populations, especially K-8 students
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal and informal evaluations of speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff
• Maintain thorough and timely progress documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
