Zibiz Corporation, an established and growing technology company in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking an Accounting / Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a professional, organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with customers while also being comfortable with billing, invoices, payments, order processing and administrative responsibilities.

This position is ideal for someone who likes variety, enjoys solving problems and wants to work in a professional small-company environment where you can take ownership of your responsibilities.

Customer & Order Support

Communicate with customers by phone and email

Assist customers with order, invoice, billing and account questions

Enter and process customer sales orders

Provide order-status information and coordinate internally as needed

Process online/web orders

Help research and resolve customer issues

Prepare professional customer correspondence

Maintain accurate customer and order information in our ERP system

Billing & Accounting Support

Prepare and submit customer invoices

Process customer payments and credit card transactions

Prepare and send customer account statements

Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities

Research invoice, payment and account discrepancies

Maintain accurate financial and transaction records

Prepare reports and supporting documentation

Vendor & Administrative Support

Communicate with vendors regarding purchase orders, invoices and related matters

Enter and process purchase orders

Assist with purchasing activities

Prepare reports and spreadsheets

Assist with timesheet administration and recordkeeping

Maintain organized electronic records

Support management and other team members with administrative projects as needed

What We're Looking For

2+ years of professional experience in customer service, order management, accounting support, billing, AP/AR, inside sales support or business administration

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Professional and comfortable communicating with business customers

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good organizational and follow-through skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Comfortable learning ERP and other business software

Comfortable working with invoices, payments and numbers

Good problem-solving skills

Dependable, professional and positive attitude

Experience in a B2B, manufacturing, technology, distribution or similar business environment is a plus. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience is welcomed and encouraged.

Compensation & Benefits

$25.00$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
