Senior Financial Reporting Consultant
Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Monday & Tuesday)
Duration: 6 months Contract (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Business Control Consultant IV to support financial reporting, SEC filings, financial consolidations, and accounting compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial reporting, GAAP, SEC compliance, ERP systems, and utility industry accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consolidation of financial results across multiple entities and subsidiaries
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and top-side adjustments
- Support SEC reporting activities and prepare supporting documentation for filings
- Analyze financial disclosures for GAAP compliance and review XBRL tagging
- Prepare external and internal financial reports for leadership and Board reporting
- Perform accounting research and assess impacts of new accounting regulations and standards
- Lead implementation of new accounting standards and reporting policies
- Identify and implement process improvements across financial reporting processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and reporting teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7–10 years of Accounting / Financial Reporting experience
- Strong experience with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP
- Strong analytical, documentation, and financial reporting skills
