Injection Molding Process Technician – 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for machine setups, mold changes, process troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Pay: $30.90–$39.30/hour, depending on experience

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Set up and tear down molds, start up/shut down machines, and troubleshoot molding processes
• Monitor and document process settings and assist with approved process changes
• Troubleshoot equipment to reduce scrap and downtime
• Assist with maintenance, automation, robots, and auxiliary equipment setup
• Train operators on standard operating procedures
• Support engineering and maintenance teams with equipment and process troubleshooting
• Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, efficiency, and production

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of plastic injection molding setup, processing, and troubleshooting experience
• Understanding of scientific molding concepts and injection mold design
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to make, explain, and support molding process adjustments
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited direction

Preferred:

• Experience with robots, EOAT, and automation equipment
• Strong analytical, math, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

• Hands-on work with injection molding machines, molds, robots, and auxiliary equipment
• Manufacturing environment with moving machinery and typical machine shop hazards
• Frequent movement throughout the facility and regular equipment interaction
