Overview:

This is an amazing opportunity for a skilled welder to earn $23.00 hourly on 3rd Shift with weekends off. Plus, radically affordable health insurance after 30 days.

• $23.00 hourly
• 3rd Shift
• Opportunity to work with structural steel, pressure vessels, pipes, tanks, and other fabricated metal components
• Ability to read blueprints and follow welding procedures

What you'll do as: Sub Arc Welders: NIGHT SHIFT

• Perform submerged arc welding (SAW) on various metal components according to specifications
• Set up and operate sub arc welding equipment, including wire feeders and welding machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Inspect completed welds for defects and compliance with quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• - Must pass Plate Test: 1” plate test, Mig welded in 1G position with fill and cap
  - Must pass UT and X-ray

Skills and Experience:

Preferred Candidate Might:

• Previous experience with submerged arc welding (SAW)
• Ability to read blueprints, welding procedures, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and fabrication practices
• Experience operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
