Senior Operations Manager Role Summary The Senior Operations Manager reports directly to the Site Director and is a high‑energy leader who directs a workforce in the fulfillment of orders for multiple clients. Responsibilities include managing inbound inventory, maintaining inventory, pick/pack operations, and outbound shipments. The role requires strong labor management and forecasting skills. Responsibilities Lead and direct the Fulfillment Operations Group to achieve key goals in order processing and delivery, quality assurance management, inventory management, purchasing management, cost management, process layouts, process improvements, and employee training and development. Collaborate with the Director of Operations to influence corporate strategic plans. Work with functional leaders to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures. Ensure safety is consistently integrated into the culture and operations of the facility. Set annual, monthly, and daily goals for productivity and quality levels. Drive continuous improvement while operating the Fulfillment group efficiently and competitively. Manage, train, and develop operations managers and supervisors, including hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and eliminate obstacles. Build rapport with clients to ensure their success. Conduct daily SQDCP KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; five to ten years of managerial experience spanning inbound/outbound, inventory, quality management, warehousing, and distribution; or equivalent education and experience. High motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to deliver results within strict timeframes. Prior 3PL experience required. Flexible to work multiple shifts and full‑week operations. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in identifying, prioritizing, planning, and implementing process improvement opportunities. Ability to train, mentor, and coach associates, supervisors, and managers on productivity processes and procedures. Incorporate safety and ergonomic considerations into process design. Data‑driven problem‑solving skills to adjust the facility amid constant change. Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form to serve clients cost‑effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Maintain confidentiality of Radial, clients, and proprietary information. Proficient with Excel, Word, and basic computer skills. Strong leadership, motivational, technical/business orientation, and analytical skills. Remain calm under stress while driving continuous improvement. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
