Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab

Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation and Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Varied shifts.

Assignment Details: Primary position in the rehabilitation unit, floating to medical/surgical as needed.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Completion of dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation required for all telemetry-based departments.

Responsibilities:

• Render professional nursing care and execute provider orders for patient medical care.
• Document comprehensive clinical information, including care plans.
• Participate in patient information communications for continuity of care.
• Promote a safe environment by adhering to established protocols and identifying safety issues.
• Engage in quality initiatives and performance improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education materials in a culturally competent manner.
