Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary The Regional Manager, Sales is responsible for developing and managing a team of sales professionals in an assigned region across multiple segments to reach sales and profitability goals. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving growth through strategic planning, leadership, and customer support. Responsibilities Customer Education (20%) : Promote relationships with distributors, contractors, GCs, architects, and other stakeholders; conduct business meetings, presentations, and project tracking; support product education and answer technical questions. Regional Strategy (25%) : Develop and adjust regional business plans, monitor CRM metrics, manage pricing and promotions, oversee regional P&L, and collaborate with higher-level executives on strategy recommendations. Customer Support (15%) : Resolve escalated shipping, production, and product claim issues; partner with internal teams; identify growth areas; conduct consultative meetings with customers. Industry Knowledge/Presence & Skills Development (10%) : Attend trade shows and industry events, represent LATICRETE, participate in internal training, stay current on market trends, and contribute to product and marketing initiatives. Team Leadership (30%) : Allocate resources, set clear priorities, provide performance feedback and recognition, foster a positive team culture, manage conflict, and communicate business updates. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience. Experience: 8+ years in sales or the construction industry; 3+ years managing sales teams or equivalent internal LATICRETE product familiarity. Skills: Demonstrated success building long‑term professional partnerships; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; high self‑motivation and organizational abilities. Technical: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams); knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics a plus. Languages: Spanish language skills strongly desired. Certifications: Industry training and certifications highly desired; product application experience a plus. Market Knowledge: Local market knowledge highly desired. Travel Requirement 25%–75% travel, dependent on territory; must be able to travel on short notice and live within the territory. Physical Requirements Lift 50 pounds. Push/Pull 50 pounds.
