Our nationally recognized specialists treat a full range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, helping patients of all ages move, heal, and thrive.Join us and become part of a trusted network committed to excellence in orthopedic care.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccurately document patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR) in real time.Record patient histories, medications, allergies, review of systems, physical examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans.Document provider-directed diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and patient education.Enter provider-directed orders, referrals, imaging requests, therapies, and other treatment-related services.Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks that facilitate provider workflow and clinic efficiency.Coordinate and communicate with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams as appropriate.Adapt to physician-specific workflows while maintaining organizational documentation standards.Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA, regulatory, and organizational policies.Complete required training and competency requirements necessary to perform assigned job responsibilities.Perform other duties as assigned in support of clinic operations.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or current enrollment in healthcare, science, or related field.Demonstrated interest in pursuing a healthcare-related career.Coursework in biology, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, exercise science, health sciences, public health, or related disciplines.Previous healthcare experience such as:o Medical Scribeo Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)o Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)o Medical Assistant (MA)o Athletic Trainingo Physical Therapy Aideo Clinical Researcho Physician Shadowingo Familiarity with medical terminology.o Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.o Experience with Epic EMR preferred.o Typing proficiency of 60+ words per minute preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer and technology skills.Ability to learn medical terminology and clinical documentation practices.Ability to learn and effectively navigate electronic medical record systems.Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centered care.Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Physical Requirements· Standing: Continuously· Walking: Frequently· Fine motor skills/dexterity: Continuously· Visual acuity, hearing, and speaking: Continuously· Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds: Frequently· Operating computers, keyboards, telephones, and office equipment: Continuously· Exposure to noise: Frequently· Exposure to infectious materials: RarelyCompensation Range for this position:$16.37 - $24.55Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.This organization participates in e-Verify.
