Systems Engineer

We are seeking Systems Engineers to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure, large-scale infrastructure environments. This team is responsible for building and optimizing systems that operate within highly regulated (IL5 / DoD-aligned) environments, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments supporting secure workloads
- Support IL5 / regulated environment initiatives, ensuring systems align with security and compliance standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs, NIST)
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve system performance, reliability, and deployment workflows
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and system management using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and support incident response efforts
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure ongoing compliance
- Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and operational efficiency
- Support system integration efforts across distributed platforms and services
- Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to improve system performance, monitoring, and operational workflows

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or SRE
- 3+ years of experience in a GCP environment
- Ability to work across several enterprise applications and workflows to improve the overall health of the IL5 environment
- Experience deploying and monitoring CICD pipeline
- Experience using AI to optimize development workflows


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience within FedRamp or the public sector
