Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Post Surgical and Telemetry Fulltime

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values. Key Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care. Deliver relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting. Ensure documentation of care and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members via interdisciplinary rounds and communication methods. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent, professional nursing workforce. Participate in developing protocols, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and safety goals. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred). Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, especially in direct patient care. Certifications in BLS and other relevant areas, required upon hire. Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
