Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery/Bariatric - Acute Care

Role: Full-time RN Acute Care in the Surgery/Bariatric unit, working night shifts (7p-7a). Responsibilities Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice. Provide individualized, relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity. Partner with patients and families, ensuring clear communication and shared goals. Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation. Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Mentor and serve as a preceptor to promote a qualified, professional nursing workforce. Develop protocols, participate in data collection, and optimize resource use. Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and ethical guidelines. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. GA or Compact Nursing License, BLS, and at least 2 years RN experience (less than 1 year acceptable with clinical hours). Ability to work 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, three days a week.
