Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Full-Time Day Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Perform nursing processes (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and patient education, ensuring their goals guide care plans. Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and healthcare staff. Participate in protocol development, data collection, and resource management to improve care delivery. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
