Maintenance Tech - South Beach Compensation: $21.50 Loading... Engineering ll – South Beach We seeking skilled and dependable Hotel Maintenance Engineers to join the Engineering Department at a premier luxury hotel located in beautiful South Beach, Miami. Location: South Job D escription : The Engineer s are responsible for maintaining the hotels' facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe, functional, and exceptional guest experience. This position performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and responds to maintenance requests throughout the property while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Essential Responsibilities Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention Qualifications Hotel, commercial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
