Notes:
Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, or similar is highly valuable. AWS/data-platform experience is also relevant.
Will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and business-aligned technology teams to define problems, requirements, success criteria, and product backlogs.
Strong ability to challenge and influence architects/engineers rather than simply facilitate requirements.
Asset management, financial services, investments, or consulting experience within the industry is strongly preferred.
Senior Technical Product Manager (Forward Deployment Lead)
Lead product manager for forward-deployed engagements, responsible for bridging business needs, SI delivery teams, and enterprise platform capabilities.
This individual will lead product discovery and solution discovery activities across forward deployment engagements, working directly with System Integrators (SIs), business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define use cases, translating requirements into actionable platform and data product capabilities, and ensure successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as the day-to-day product lead for the tiger team pilot engagement and future forward deployed pods.
Lead product intake, opportunity assessment, and prioritization across one or more forward deployment engagements.
Partner directly with SIs and business stakeholders to identify business problems, define success criteria, and shape solution approaches.
Translate business and delivery needs into detailed platform, architecture, and data product requirements.
Drive problem discovery and solution discovery activities, ensuring initiatives are tied to measurable outcomes and adoption goals.
Own and maintain the engagement backlog/milestones (not stories), roadmap, priorities, and sequencing of work.
Facilitate decision-making across stakeholders, architects, engineers, and delivery teams.
Identify platform gaps, reusable patterns, and improvement opportunities emerging from field implementations, feeding learnings back into the Integrated Data Platform roadmap.
Establish and govern intake, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management processes for the forward deployment model.
