Our client is a staffing/recruiting firm. They seek a temp-to-perm Recruiting Assistant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment for entry-level through management positions across multiple locations
• Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals, staffing agencies, and other recruiting channels
• Conduct candidate phone screens to assess qualifications and hiring fit
• Maintain job postings across multiple online recruiting platforms
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, candidates, and external recruiting partners
• Collect hiring and onboarding documentation and complete reference checks as needed
• Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Experience in recruitment and candidate sourcing is a plus, but not required
• Experience in customer service/client relations
• Must be able to learn new processes, methods, and systems quickly
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
• Understanding of workforce development, employment services, and/or adult education a strong plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
