Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support elementary students during the 2026-2027 school year . This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students overcome mental health and developmental challenges while collaborating with educational teams to support academic success.

? Contract Length: 36 Weeks
?? Hours: 30 Hours per Week

Compensation
?? Local Pay: Up to $75/hour ($2,250/week)
?? Travel Package Available for Qualified Candidates
Responsibilities
• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
• Assist in determining eligibility for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Develop recommendations and intervention strategies to support student success
• Provide on-site psychological services in accordance with state and district guidelines
Minimum Requirements
? Current State School Psychologist licensure and/or certification
? Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
? Master's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred
? Compliance with all professional standards of practice
? Current CPR Certification (if applicable)
? Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Minimum Requirements:
Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
Master’s degree in psychology preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
