The role promotes timely admissions, provides clinical direction, ensures compliance with regulations, and serves as a liaison to patients, families, and medical staff. The RN Manager also works to increase referrals, optimize conversion rates, and improve average length of stay. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate, and separate staff Schedule staff to meet referral demand, admission, and liaison visits Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations for hospice and palliative care services Develop and operationalize policies and procedures to ensure high quality and regulatory compliance Assist with annual budget preparation and promote cost containment, including variance analysis Implement Continuous Quality Improvement Program and monitor patient and organizational metrics for clinical quality and corporate compliance Set positive expectations, objectives, and goals for staff development Provide guidance in patient care planning within interdisciplinary teams and handle risk management interventions Act as first administrative responder to patient/family complaints and risk management issues Promote a department culture focused on patient‑centered services and customer service Participate in 24/7 supervisory on‑call for intake and admissions department Perform informational visits and admit patients into Hospice program as needed Review and prioritize all incoming referrals Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current NYS RN licensure; BSN preferred Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Valid driver’s license, free of serious violations; vehicle required for duty or on‑call Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; at least 2 years management experience, including 2 years supervision Experience in various healthcare settings is helpful; Hospice & Palliative Care experience preferred Experience with electronic documentation (EMR) helpful Salary $100,000 – $108,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
