About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager is a leadership role that serves as a clinical expert and role model for Registered Nurses and staff. Highlights Location: New Britain, CT Facility: The Hospital of Central Connecticut Department/Unit: 91005-Nursing Unit EW3 Schedule: Full Time, Day shift What You'll Do Direct the work to ensure overall patient care is managed safely and efficiently. Review assignments of patient care activities to assure staff qualifications. Support team members and ensure quality and service excellence to patients. Facilitate solutions for challenging patient care situations. Appropriately assign workload and collaborate with manager to monitor staff performance. Requirements Education: BSN or related field required; candidates in the process of completing educational requirements will be considered. Experience: 3-5 years of nursing experience required. Experience: Charge nurse or supervisory experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Current CT RN license required.
