Job Description

Veterinary Assistant/Technician – Overnight Shift

Indianapolis, IN Veterinary Nurse

The Hospital: Noah's Animal Hospital & 24-Hour Emergency Center

Schedule: 7pm-7am or 9pm-7am

About the Position

You bring us your passion; we’ll help you build the skills for a rewarding career!

Whether you already know that veterinary medicine is for you or want to transition your current experience working with animals into an opportunity in veterinary medicine, we can help!

At Noah’s Animal Hospitals, we believe that great veterinary professionals are developed, not simply hired! We are currently looking for curious, compassionate individuals who are eager to learn and ready to dive into a family environment where every day is focused on helping pets and their people.  As a VETERINARY ASSISTANT, you will be working alongside the veterinarians, the credentialed veterinary technicians, and many other veterinary professionals to provide a high level of patient care and outstanding client service.  While experience is always helpful, we are committed to developing you to your highest potential.  That means that training doesn’t end after your onboarding…we are dedicated to providing structured training and professional development.   So, if this is brand new to you or if you have been herding cats for many years, your time with us will be structured, full of growth opportunities, and you will have clear expectations from your team. You won’t just learn HOW…you will learn WHY!

As your skills develop, you may be responsible for everything from compassionate nursing care for the patients to professional communication with the clients.  From the exam room to the surgery suite and from radiology to the ICU ward or boarding kennel, our Veterinary Assistant Development program will test your limits. When the doctor asks for a shock bolus of fluids, you will already know what type of fluids and the amount to provide your patient because of our intensive and in-depth training. You will be more than an animal restrainer…you are part of a team of professionals looking to always put the needs of the pet and the pet’s family first.

Our Noah’s Veterinary Assistants are some of the best trained and highly capable team members in the Central Indiana pet-loving community. We are looking for people who ask questions, who want to be better tomorrow than they are today, and who will bring curiosity, compassion, and a drive to succeed each workday.  We are looking for people who want to make life better for people and their pets! Ready for a veterinary career that makes a difference?  Apply today and start growing with Noah’s Animal Hospitals!
