Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Sonographer Position - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Variable 10-hour shifts from 06:30 to 16:30 with opportunities for on-call during noc shift. Start times are either 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM.

We are seeking a qualified Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various ultrasound procedures and be adept in charting systems, preferably Epic. This role requires a high level of patient interaction and technical skill in imaging analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound procedures on patients across various age groups and medical conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Utilize Epic and other charting systems to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the best care practices for patients.
• Handle on-call duties as per facility requirement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of previous charge experience.
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT R*, BLS, RVT*, and ARDMS in at least one category.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Community hospital experience is required, with LTAC and Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Candidates must possess a valid California license.
