Accounting Associate

Position Summary The Accounting Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the accounting and finance functions, assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and month-end closings. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Position Accounting Associate Salary Range $50,000~$60,000 a year Key Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry, journal entries, and transaction recording. Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes by gathering and organizing financial data Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts. Assist with maintaining accurate and organized financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation. Help prepare financial reports and schedules for management review and audits. Support cash management activities, including recording bank transactions and monitoring balances. Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses. Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and timely submission of accounting information. Assist with tax filing and payroll processing. Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures. Provide administrative and accounting support as needed. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience) 1 – 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, lookups) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems) Bilingual in English and Korean Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Physical Requirements Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
