It's no surprise Damar has been named a Top Workplace for several years!Damar is currently seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated healthcare team at our East campus in Richmond, Indiana! The Clinical Psychologist works with both children and adults, completing intake and diagnostic appointments, consultations, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. Assessments may include cognitive, academic/achievement, social-emotional, behavioral, neuropsychological, autism, and other diagnostic assessments and symptom screeners, as clinically appropriate. The Clinical Psychologist provides individuals served and caregivers with comprehensive diagnostic reports, recommendations, and guidance to support ongoing care and treatment planning.At Damar, our Clinical Psychologists have the independence to manage their clinical work while being part of a collaborative, integrated healthcare team focused on providing high-quality, individualized care. We offer a flexible Monday-Friday schedule designed to support work-life balance, along with dedicated administrative support so you can focus your time on your patients and clinical work. Our administrative team handles scheduling, billing, and prior authorizations, allowing you to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time providing meaningful, quality care.Schedule: Monday-Friday with Flexible SchedulingKey ResponsibilitiesConducts timely and thorough assessments and evaluations for assigned clientsSupervises and provides clinical guidance and training to the Psychometrists, reviewing all diagnosis and evaluations completed, approving work completedGathers collateral documentation by requesting, receiving and organizing previous mental health, medical, education and other records to be used in the overall assessment of the client and evaluationCompletes diagnostic interviews and uses screening tools to evaluate the need for further testingMakes a clinical determination on the most appropriate assessments, measures, and tests to utilizeCompletes all documentation, including but not limited to, evaluation reports within 15 business days of the date of serviceProvides recommendations to caregivers both when a diagnosis is given and when a diagnosis is notUtilizes a trauma assumed approach when addressing patient problem behaviorSeeks patient consent during the evaluation processEnsures that documentation is consistent with billed services, is accurate, and legibleInteracts professionally with parents, school, medical personnel, and others using excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsQualifications and SkillsRequired:PsyD or PhDA minimum of 2 years completing diagnostic assessmentsHSPP endorsementMinimum age of 18 per licensure requirementsBe clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictionsSuccessfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physicalFavorably meet and maintain Damar's background screeningBenefits and PerksEligible for the Damar Advantage including discounts at Damar Health Services and Damar PharmacyComprehensive training in verbal intervention and physical management techniquesMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance optionsUp to $5,000 per year in Tuition AssistanceSave for your retirement with our 401(k) Plan ParticipationTake care of loved ones through our Damar provided Life Insurance and additional voluntary optionsShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance optionsPaid Holidays to spend time with loved onesPaid Time Off (PTO) for rest and renewalApply today!
