Marketing and Communications Specialist

Position Summary We are seeking a relationship-driven and highly organized Marketing & Communications Specialist to strengthen and grow our network of referring attorneys throughout Texas. This role is responsible for building meaningful, long-term relationships with referral partners through consistent communication, exceptional service, and thoughtful engagement. The Marketing & Communications Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for referring attorneys, ensuring they feel valued, informed, and connected to our firm. This includes coordinating office visits, networking opportunities, attorney appreciation initiatives, personalized outreach, and ongoing communication through email, phone, and in-person meetings. Working closely with the Marketing team, this individual will also support referral-focused marketing initiatives, and communication strategies designed to strengthen relationships, increase engagement, and support the firm's continued growth. They are an excellent communicator, highly organized, and enjoy creating positive experiences that leave a lasting impression. ________________________________________ Job Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for the firm's referring attorneys and referral partners. Build and maintain strong relationships through regular phone calls, emails, office visits, lunches, and networking opportunities. Develop and execute communication plans to keep referral partners engaged, informed, and connected to the firm. Coordinate attorney appreciation initiatives, including gifts, handwritten notes, holiday outreach, welcome packages, and recognition programs. Schedule and conduct regular visits with referring attorneys and their offices. Plan and assist with attorney appreciation events, networking receptions, CLE programs, conferences, and other relationship-building activities. Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop newsletters, email campaigns, and referral-focused marketing materials. Maintain accurate records of attorney interactions, referral activity, and engagement within the firm's CRM. Monitor referral partner engagement and identify opportunities to strengthen relationships or re-engage inactive referral sources. Prepare reports on referral activity, communication efforts, and relationship engagement. Represent the firm professionally at networking events, conferences, community events, and industry functions. Assist with additional marketing, communications, and special projects as needed. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred. Two or more years of experience in marketing, communications, relationship management, client services, business development, hospitality, or professional services. Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships. Professional, outgoing, and confident interacting with attorneys and other professionals. Experience planning events, coordinating outreach, or managing client relationships is preferred. Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
