Machine Operator / Production Worker Location: Statesville, NC Shift Available:
- 2nd Shift: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: SundayThursday, 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Pay: $18.57 Job Summary We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Machine Operator Assistants in a corrugated box manufacturing facility. This position involves assisting machine operators on the production line, handling corrugated products, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. This is a physically demanding position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where temperatures can become very hot, especially during warmer months. Overtime is required as needed to meet production demands.
- Assist machine operators with production line operations
- Stack, sort, bundle, and move corrugated boxes and materials
- Monitor product quality and report issues to supervisors
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform general production and manufacturing duties as assigned
Machine Operator Assistant / Production Worker Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift heavy materials throughout the shift
- Steel-toe boots are required
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Machine Operator Assistant / Production Worker Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment
