What's your day like?

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Psychiatric/Behavior Health department, you can expect to provide compassionate care to patients with mental health needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting assessments, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, administering medications, and implementing individualized care plans. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients while fostering a therapeutic environment. This position follows a 36/48 schedule , working 7 AM - 7PM , allowing you to make a meaningful impact during evening shifts and have extended periods off for rest and rejuvenation. Requirements for this Registered Nurse (RN), Psychiatric / Behavior Health job

To excel in the role of a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Psychiatric/Behavior Health department at Minden Medical Center, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and compassion are essential in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions. You must be detail-oriented, able to work effectively in a team setting, and capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations.
