Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a major academic medical center and Level I trauma facility in Durham, NC.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 978 staffed beds
• Major teaching hospital and Level I trauma center, nationally ranked in multiple adult and pediatric specialties
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility will be placed at a local pay rate

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; less experience may be considered
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT — all must be in hand at time of consideration
• NC state license or Compact license in hand required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Orientations are held on a bi-weekly basis
• Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31, with no exemptions accepted
