Glacial Lakes Energy, LLC (GLE) Department: Maintenance FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Maintenance Lead supports the daily operations of the Maintenance Department by overseeing maintenance personnel, coordinating workflow, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. This role is responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring progress, inspecting completed work, and maintaining accurate documentation. Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all pre-employment requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support maintenance team members in daily activities Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work orders Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance Maintain accurate records and documentation Promote and enforce safety procedures and standards Assist in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues Education & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Training within a manufacturing/production maintenance environment preferred Prior experience leading or supervising maintenance personnel required; 3–5 years of leadership experience highly preferred Working knowledge of maintenance procedures for centrifuges, drying equipment, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, valves, electrical circuits, and 4–20 milliamp instrumentation Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations required Ability to communicate clearly in English Work Environment & Physical Requirements: This position involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, high noise levels, varying temperatures, and chemicals.
