Workers Compensation Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Workers Compensation Attorney to join their growing department in Nashville, Tennessee. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, supporting senior attorneys and handling various legal tasks. Duties Manage cases from pre-litigation to litigation. Handle pre-suit matters and assist senior attorneys post-suit. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions. Guide clients through the legal process. Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the TN State Bar Association; multiple state licenses preferred. Minimum 2+ years of workers compensation experience. Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus. Ability to manage a high volume of cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter with long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active TN State Bar membership. Skills Strong case management abilities.
