Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager $120,000-$130,000 base salary (depending on experience) La Vista, NE (hybrid schedule) Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire their next Accounting Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead key accounting and financial reporting functions while partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives, process improvements, and business growth. You'll play a critical role in developing the accounting team, strengthening financial controls, and delivering meaningful insights that support executive decision-making. Manage and develop the accounting team through coaching, workload planning, and performance oversight. Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and internal controls. Drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and reporting enhancements across accounting operations. Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights, KPI reporting, and support SEC reporting requirements. Requirements 5+ years of Top 10 Accounting Firm and Large Public Company Experience (Required) CPA or progress toward CPA (Required) Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Required) Compensation and Benefits Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
