High-Speed Packaging Line Technician — Greenville, SC

A day in this role

You arrive for your 12-hour day or night shift, walk the line, and power up your station. You verify specs, check changeover settings, and start the equipment. Throughout the shift, you monitor throughput and product quality, make fine adjustments, and log every step accurately. When a test result flags a pass/fail, you interpret the data (familiarity with SAP is a plus) and respond fast. You complete routine inspections, help with changeovers, perform basic troubleshooting, and keep your area clean and safe—all while collaborating with teammates to hit efficiency targets.

What you’ll handle

• Operate production and packaging machinery to defined specifications and procedures
• Continuously monitor equipment and lines for quality, output, and efficiency
• Conduct routine quality checks and inspections on finished goods
• Accurately complete batch records, equipment logs, and production documentation
• Use testing equipment and interpret pass/fail results (SAP experience is a plus)
• Support changeovers and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, safe, policy-driven work area
• Operate or learn multiple types of manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Assist teammates and take on additional tasks to keep lines running

What you bring

• At least 1 year of machine operating or manufacturing experience (required)
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Comfort bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
• Strong reliability, attendance, and stable work history
• Able to understand and respond to visual and audible alerts
