Further information is available at About The Role Senior Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in medication delivery at Alfred Care Group to ensure patients' medications are available in a safe and timely manner. The Alfred Care Group Senior Pharmacy Technician role has several key rotations to support the ongoing needs of the Pharmacy Department. Our Senior Pharmacy Technicians rotate across all areas of the department, including: Aseptic services Procurement and Distribution services Inpatient and outpatient services Ward Based and Medication Managementservices Our Senior Pharmacy technicians are also involved in expanded scope of practice initiatives, such as the ‘Tech Check Tech’ credentialling. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teams and the operational services to achieve the best medication management outcomes for our patients. You will contribute to improving medication management on a larger scale through contributing to research projects and service & process improvement work as required. As Alfred Care Group is an academic health centre, you will supervise and mentor local and international students as well as other pharmacy staff.
