We’re looking for a full‑time onsite Senior Human Resources Manager to support business strategy and talent excellence across various manufacturing and overhaul facilities. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, Talent Management and Labor Relations), coach leaders to build strong teams, ensure compliance with employment laws, and much more. Responsibilities Drive change programs, organizational effectiveness initiatives, and high‑performance culture, supporting bids and projects. Act as 2nd chair negotiator and lead negotiator for all labor contracts within the assigned business area, managing pre, during and post activities. Analyze current organizational capabilities to deliver the business strategy, identify gaps and act on them. Support business leaders in all talent activities, ensuring the right talent is in the right place at the right time, and coach leaders on talent‑related tools and strategies. Support talent reviews, competency assessments, identification and mobilisation of high potentials, performance management, individual action plans, resource and succession planning, recruitment and onboarding. Analyze current staffing, forecast future needs, and develop strategies to ensure skilled employees are in place at the right time while optimising resource and talent allocations. Supervise two Human Resources Business Partners and an International Intern (VIE). Support leadership development on‑site to ensure management delivers on commitments, mobilises teams and drives business strategy while adhering to the Code of Ethics. Leverage best practices, share knowledge and ensure efficient and effective interfaces with HR Ops. Ensure legal compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, AA and New York‑specific leave laws, to minimise organisational risk/exposure. Experience or understanding of handling grievance processes, collective bargaining agreements and labour union relationships. Familiarity with local, state and federal employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, AA and New York‑specific leave laws. Knowledge of HR and People Strategies, People Management and labour relations in a unionised environment. Certifications for Human Resources Professionals (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP). Experience with HR software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, WFM) is an asset. Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including prior supervisory experience managing Human Resources Business Partners. Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify organisational capability gaps and develop actionable solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and experience with data manipulation related to manpower planning. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
