Senior Engineer

Job TitleLicensed, experienced Professional Engineer (PE) with asset portfolio responsibilities, as appropriate, to provide project management and team leadership for City mobility, stormwater, sanitary sewer utility, and facilities engineering projects.An experienced engineering project manager capable of best practice supervisory and/or work program team leader responsibilities as required. An Engineer who can maintain high-quality standards while moving projects forward within budget and on schedule. Must have the ability to multitask and complete many varying assignments and projects. Position reports to the Engineering Services Department Director.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and four (4) years directly related engineering experience and project management capacityCurrent State of Florida Professional Engineer license or current Professional Engineer license from another State that can transfer within six (6) months of hireValid Florida Driver's License or the ability to obtain one within two (2) months of hireAdditional Compensation/Benefits:Additional $3,800 employee benefit dollars; the unused balance of which can be kept as taxable incomeDefined Contribution Plan 401(a) with a generous 6% City matchBenefits also include 12 paid leave days and 24 hour full access to City fitness center.
