You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process development and implementation to equipment maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes and provide technical support and guidance to production staff. You will be the functional lead for assigned CCA and module assembly builds.Analyzing and optimizing CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product qualityIdentifying and implementing process improvements in the MK48 assembly area, utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologiesExperience creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencilsCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changesDeveloping and maintaining detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materialsConducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systemsProviding technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as neededDeveloping and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for further improvementWHO WE AREWe are a world class manufacturing center. Successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability. Experience with MK48 program is a plus. You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a CCA, subassembly, and/or module manufacturing role, with a focus on process improvement. Direct engineering experience is a plus.Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control methods.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologiesAbility to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floorPhysical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing prioritiesDesired SkillsMaster's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related fieldExperience with MK48 programExperience with data analytics and statistical process controlExperience programming and troubleshooting SMT equipmentExperience with CCA cleaning processes and cleaning equipment.Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130Experience with automation and roboticsProficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorksPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
