As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the daily operations of our closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Vineland, NJ. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with prescription processing, medication preparation, packaging, inventory management, and quality assurance to ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and timely medications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is looking to grow their pharmacy career outside of a traditional retail setting.

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities

• Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy management system accurately.
• Prepare, fill, package, and label medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Process new prescriptions, refill requests, and medication changes.
• Maintain accuracy while meeting established productivity and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and fellow team members to resolve prescription-related questions.
• Process returned medications in accordance with Company policy.
• Follow all HIPAA requirements, Company policies, and applicable pharmacy regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current New Jersey Registered Pharmacy Technician or ability to obtain registration prior to employment.
• Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to accurately recognize medications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term care pharmacy experience.
• Experience using pharmacy management software such as SuiteRx or IPC.
• Experience with medication packaging, fulfillment, or pharmacy automation systems.

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays as business needs require
• Full-time, onsite at our Vineland, NJ pharmacy
