Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk – MSI Video Receiving (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

This role supports the MSI Video Receiving department on a mid-shift schedule, focusing on accurate receiving, handling, and preparation of boxes and materials. You will work in a clean, climate-controlled, metal-free facility, performing physical tasks such as lifting, taping, folding, and kitting while maintaining organized records and entering data into basic computer programs. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and a high level of commitment to the assigned work schedule, especially during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, and process incoming boxes and materials for the MSI Video Receiving department.
• Lift, move, and position boxes weighing up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Tape, fold, and prepare boxes for processing, storage, or shipment according to established procedures.
• Perform kitting activities by assembling components and materials into complete kits as required.
• Enter data accurately into basic computer programs to maintain up-to-date records of received items and processed materials.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inventory, received goods, and processed orders.
• Work autonomously while following established processes and guidelines to complete tasks on time.
• Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail in all tasks to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and workloads.
• Comply with facility rules for a metal-free environment and adhere to all safety and operational policies.
• Follow the assigned mid-shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and remain fully committed to attendance expectations.
• Support peak operational periods, including the month of December and possible weekend work, to help meet customer performance metrics.
• Communicate clearly in English with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and schedules.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfort working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong thoroughness and attention to detail in completing tasks.
• Competence in maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Basic knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of reliability and commitment to the assigned work schedule, including adherence to attendance expectations.
• Willingness to support peak periods, including full commitment during December and potential weekend work.

• Experience with lifting, handling, and organizing boxes in a warehouse or receiving environment.
• Familiarity with taping, folding, and preparing boxes for processing or shipment.
• Experience with kitting activities, assembling components into complete kits.
• Comfort working in a structured, policy-driven environment with defined performance expectations.

You will work in a clean, climate-controlled facility that values consistency, reliability, and long-term commitment. Once hired on a permanent basis, you receive a pay increase, followed by regular incremental raises each month, providing a clear path for steady earnings growth over time. Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled facility designated as metal-free, requiring associates to avoid items that could cause metal detectors to beep. You will work in the MSI Video Receiving department on a mid-shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend work during peak periods such as December. The environment is fast-paced yet organized, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures. You will regularly lift boxes up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as taping, folding, and kitting. Basic computer systems are used for data entry and recordkeeping, and training is provided in English. The dress code aligns with a warehouse and receiving setting, emphasizing safety and compliance with the metal-free requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
