Contracts Manager - Biotech

A well-established biotechnology company based in San Francisco is seeking a Contracts Manager to support its legal and business teams. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a contracts professional with experience in the biotech or life sciences sector. The role focuses on managing, drafting, and negotiating a high volume of commercial and research-related agreements while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across scientific, operational, and business functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, consulting agreements, and research collaboration contractsSupport contracts related to research and development, clinical activities, and commercial operationsManage the full contract lifecycle, from intake and review through execution and amendmentCollaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and business teams to ensure alignment with company objectivesMaintain contract records, templates, and compliance trackingIdentify and escalate legal or business risks as appropriate
