Back/Front Office Medical Assistant with Urology experience needed for busy Urology office located in Anaheim. Small 2 physician friendly office open since 1987 with a committed staff.

Responsibilities:

The duties of this position will include:

Front Office -

Answering phones, taking messages and scheduling appointments.

Checking in and checking out patients, review of faxes and covering back office as needed.

Back Office Coverage

Rooming patients, assisting during examination and procedures, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms and medical instruments.

Able to assist with Biopsies, Cystoscopies, Urodynamics and other procedures.

Collecting patient lab reports as needed, sending out labs and urine cultures.

multi tasking and assisting in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

At least two years medical back office experience.

Knowledge of insurance groups e.g. Medi-Cal, CalOptima, Medicare, HMO, and PPO.

Must be bilingual.
