Our team is responsible for improving the supply chain and reducing supply chain risk to program performance across the Missiles and Fire Control Supply Chain.What You Will Be DoingAs the Critical Materials Supply Chain Engineer you will be responsible for mapping critical material supply chains, assessing supplier capabilities, and developing risk‑mitigation strategies.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Supply chain mapping and analysisSupplier capability and capacity assessmentsDevelopment of supplier road‑maps and alternative sourcesCreation and management of risk‑mitigation plansRapid response to production disruptions and affordability initiativesWhy Join UsThe ideal candidate is a collaborative, forward‑thinking engineer who thrives on solving complex supply‑chain challenges. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related disciplineExperience working with suppliers or subcontractorsAbility to facilitate cross-functional teams and discussions to drive resultsProject Management ExperienceAbility to obtain a secret clearanceAbility to read and interpret material and industry specificationsFamiliarity with material properties, certifications, and qualification standardsWorking knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), including compliance and subcontractingExperience with relating knowledge of minerals and material properties to uses in manufactured productsDesired SkillsBackground/Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience/combined educationLean/SixSimga Green Belt or Black Belt certifiedRisk Management ExperienceStatement of Work or Requirements writing experienceResearch and open source intelligence experienceKnowledge of common missile and/or sensor subsystems and supply baseAbility to identify emerging suppliers or new sourcing opportunitiesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
