Work Environment

Working onsite in our Gainesville facility, you'll find yourself in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation setting equipped with the latest technology and resources to deliver superior patient care. Our facility promotes an engaging atmosphere where therapists and support staff collaborate closely to optimize patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life while providing the dedicated care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients' goals and needs through personalized therapy plans.
• Conduct evaluations to develop tailored care plans using diverse treatment techniques.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to provide effective therapeutic interventions.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document all patient interactions, care services, and progress accurately in our EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care strategies.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed based on patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Your role is critical in their recovery process, focusing on reducing pain, improving functional mobility, and teaching effective strategies for self-management. By providing quality, individualized care, you will make a significant contribution to enhancing the health and well-being of our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and a strong grasp of therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with EMR software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient therapy with evidence of successful patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated competency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• A background in using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized modalities to enhance patients' recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
