Physical Therapist, PT - Full Time

Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist, PT to join our dynamic in-house rehabilitation team. In this vital role, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Treatment Implementation: Administer therapeutic interventions, including exercises, modalities, and functional training, to enhance patients’ mobility and strength.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies to promote recovery and prevent further injury.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in physical therapy and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
